Frequently asked questions

Is the shuffle truly random?
Yes. It uses a proper shuffle that gives every possible order the same chance, so the result is not just a light reshuffle of what you pasted. Each press produces an independent new order.
Does it change my items or just their order?
Only the order changes. Each line is kept exactly as you pasted it; the tool simply rearranges them, so nothing is edited, merged or dropped.
How long a list can I shuffle?
There is no limit we impose. Because the shuffle runs on your own device, you can reorder a long list instantly without an upload or a size cap.
Is the result actually random?
Yes. Picks, spins, rolls and shuffles use your browser’s built-in random number source, so every option has the same chance each time. There is no hidden weighting and no memory of past results, so a run of the same answer is just chance, not a pattern.
Does anything I enter get sent to a server?
No. Everything runs locally in your browser. The names, options, images or beats you put in are handled on your own device, nothing is uploaded, and nothing is logged or stored. Once the page has loaded, it keeps working even if you go offline.
